The Nature of Sight and Sound
This project is integrated with the administrative staff as well as teachers in:
art, music, science, math, english, history... The Nature of Sight and Sound is an Interdisciplinary Arts-in-Education project that clearly shows the connection of art and music to nature using technology to record sounds and visions for participants to create their own artistic music video. They can also have a video performance and so much more... depending upon the length of a given residency. Some of the most important benefits of this project is to: develop ones creative intelligence so one can combine what they have learned with what they feel. The result is learning how the creative process can be one of the greatest experiences one can have in life. When a visual composition has been created, it will serve as a catalyst for the sounds they will create as well for these projects. One talent will support and help develop other talents.
What is also really wonderful about this project is that the
culminating experiences offer an opportunity to showcase and celebrate the
talents within a school. Confidence grows through real experiences.
Students feel so self-empowered that they realize that they can actually
become professional composers, videographers, writers and artists.
